We won the tender to design the new tennis club rooms at this existing tennis club. The old club rooms had reached their end of life and were to be demolished to make way for a new building.

We designed the new building to be as simple as possible with a saw-tooth roof to let natural light into the main space. A simple material palette was chosen; external sheet metal walls and roof.

Challenges were to minimise the impact of the new tennis courts and light poles on the existing indigenous trees, and to provide a new sewer pump station to connect to the main sewer.

After completing tender documentation, the project scope was amended to renovating the existing building. This will be complete in October 2025.
